Now I may gert some disagreement from you all on this but to me this is Kelly Rowland at her best...Midtempo easy listening pop...Everyone is always comparing Kelly to Beyonce because they were in a group when we all know, she is NO beyonce and will never be...but in her own right I think she is a star, she's that quiet, smooth, not megapowerful voice that can pull u in and make u fall in love, just like BRANDY! This song makes u smile...I can definately hear it in the car winding down from the club...

Now these girls have been silent for a lil while, and I thought for sure that Diddy was going to drop ma girls, cause they actually outsold him...but here they are again with a new song. I don't know how they do it with 5 girls, but damn I am loving this new sound...cute!

Jill was always the one who would uplift me with her melodic musings about love. Listening to one of her cd's u just wanted to be in love...Listening to her latest, I see another side of love...hurt, scorn, acceptance of things that aren't and even a good ole bitch please feeling (you know that feelin when they say something to u and u give them that eye and laugh and u have to turn ur head because it is SO ludacris, this usually precedes a fight).

I love this song, its clever its catchy its classic Mary...Especially the bridge...damn I love this song!

B'Day...Prepare for the Re-Release

Well, Well, Well...It's no surprise B'day is getting a re-release (its saving grace being Irreplaceable which is the #1 song in America).

Just like Shakira, Byonce sat down with Univision for an Interview. There, she talked about her latin influences, about her album B'day and the Duet with Shakira! Here's the outstand info:

· Beyonce confirmed that there will a RE-RELEASE of B'day! This new version will feature 2-3 brand new songs that she'll record soon

·The duet with Shakira will be Beautiful Liar! The track will be in spanglish and Shakira will record the track soon too, also the duet will be included in the re-release version of B'day!

·She also said that she recently recorded her hit Irreplaceable in spanish (leaked already) because she respects the latin music and latin people. She also loves the language, though she doesn't speak it, she was very proud of the results. No word yet on a possible Spanish album

A self-titled CD is always a statement, the artists is essentially saying the CD is them. A self titled CD is a glimpse into an artist at least at the time it was recorded. Well if Fantasia is a glimpse into the Psyche of Fantasia Barrino you'd want to stay in this girls presence FOREVER!

If you really missed someone SANGIN on a CD look no further...Fantasia delivers song after song like this is her first time out of the gate. This woman has a little something for everyone on her CD. From the bangers "Hood Boy", "Not Like I Do", some mid tempo cuts "Only One", "Baby Makin Hips" Uplifting touching your soul "I feel Beautiful, and as with any GREAT R&B CD some good ole slow makin love music "I Nominate You". Two weeks Notice is my favorite out the gate...I am so in love with it!

Over the past few weeks, MediaTakeOut.com has received hundreds of emails from people asking us to confirm Beyonce's true age. In an attempt to find the truth, we spoke with dozens of insiders - all of whom believed that Beyonce was being truthful about her age.

But yesterday MediaTakeOut.com received a tip that proved to be explosive. The tipster, who claimed to work for the Texas Department of Health, faxed over what appears to be Beyonce's official birth records. The document (a portion of which is below) shows that a Beyonce Giselle Knowles was born to a Mathew Knowles and Celestine Ann Beyonce on September 4th, 1974. If this document is accurate, that would mean that Beyonce is actually 32 years old.

Beyonce's official biography claims that she was born on September 4th, 1981. It also claims that her mothers maiden name is "Beyince", and not "Beyonce" as the below document shows.

Dreamgirls DELUXE CD Review!!!

Dreamgirls has been called "the gay mans Lord of the Rings" and it truly is! What a treat the Movie is but one of the things that really makes this musical shine is some DAMN good singing. The deluxe version of the soundtrack doesn't let you down when you want to be taken back to those musical moments that stirred your heart in the Theaters!

Now this is a remake so all the songs have a fresh feel too them, the Underdogs did a good job giving new life to these songs!!! There are four new songs that make the CD. Jennifer Hudson's "Love You I Do" a stirring mid tempo ballad Effie auditions as the Dreams first single. Too me should win an Oscar everyone makes a fuss over listen but this was so powerful and moving not only because in the next scene "Effie" gets turned, but truly because this powerhouse song put me back into an Era I bet if I played this song for someone from that era they'd be like DAMN who is that...and how did i miss this song! Beyonces "Listen" the one chance Beyonce gets to truly shine vocally and she does with a dazzler! "Patience" sung by Murphy/Anika that is a really nice song. Lastly, "Perfect World" by the funny Jackson 5 knockoffs (yawn)!

As with the movie Jennifer stirs the hell out of my soul just with that powerful voice of hers "One Night Only" is my favorite track of the entire soundtrack! Loretta Devine's I miss you old friend is both a testament to the old movie and a touching moment on the screen. When I first saw you gets a new life in the duet with Jamie/Beyonce. "I am changing" actually gave me goosebumps...

There is not a dull moment on this Deluxe edition...even if u haven't seen the movie the soundtrack is a powerful tool that will have u mouthing the hell out of the words when you go to see it! In the song Dreamgirls it says "Dreamgirls will NEVER Leave You". That is so true because they haven't left me yet!!!!

I'll keep it short...there was only one Performance I wanted to see...JANET! After she did her thing I went and got so drunk I...well u know how it is...lol

She was OK. I am so tired of this "urban" Janet, That performance was a bit underwhelming for me. The pleasure principle part was HOTT but the rest of her performance for me was just like her CD...so un-janet like...I have never seen Janet have an off performance dancing, she shouldn't have to dance like "everyone else", all that popping and etc... is just not what i am used to from her. She was not as precise as she normally is...I was really hoping she would do a 20 YO medley instead of So excited. Also, there was some crappy camera work going on...You couldn't really see everything...like I would have loved to see what was going on when she got on that floor, and stop showing the flippers when Janet is dancing her ass off! Overall tho I enjoyed it because it was Janet. Being in a bar with alot of fags, gave me a little more perspective than I normally get... Janet come back to the fold and embrace the true pop diva you are! See the BBA Performance below

If Mary had put the right songs on her she would have easily gotten a 4star review from me, EASY! While this is a nice collection of Mary's hits, its nice and truly not great. I am sure her hardcore fans are pissed and being a newbie I am with them this doesn't satisfy me AT ALL. The album covers many Mary hits that I am familiar with and a few I never heard. A real treat is the track with John legend King and Queen a mellow and laid back Mary who is vocally so much better that she has been in the past. One of the biggest complaints I used to have about Mary was her voice. I didn't know at the time she was slumped over somewhere in a studio High as hell being exploited (Like on this song with Lauryn Hill - Now I Don't. If you cannot hear that Mary was somewhere slumped over u are a damn fool. Also it wasn't until recently I knew that was a duet! Most don't know, being as tho its a small as credit she gets and she sings that whole song!). Tho I am scratching my head on some of the songs left of that I like and remember like: Beautiful, Love @ First Sight, Be Happy, You remind me, I can love you (ft Lil Kim), Deep Inside, Every Day it Rains, Memories, Time, He Think I don't Know, Rainy Dayz, Gimmee You, and my personal favorite Your Child. With such a list of hits Bilge's people should have made the CD a double disc! And scrapped the terrible duets CD!!!! I don't know if this worth the money cause to me if you own The Breakthrough as I do...You are buying the same CD twice.

Fantasia: Hood Boy the Video

I can tell that Fantasia is no longer with American Idol Management. When anyone "frees themselves" there are bound to be some growing pains and a period of adjustment for the fans. Examples of this Are: The Mariah Carey Divorce that turned her into a sex-kitten, Whitney's lil slip from under clives grasp from innocence into "ghettodom", and Beyonces whole last CD. Back to Fantasia, now I must say I love the fact that she is asserting her sex appeal, but it gonna take her a minute to find the fine line that separates sexy from vulgar! Let me just say this...I would ride on the back of that bike with that FINE ass man any day...WHEW! Anyway I love the concept because she could have went the way of Destiny's Child (tired Soldier Video) but she got some real hood type concepts. I love the Barbershop scene, we all know in the real "hood" people chill in the barbershop...which s why I have nowhere to sit sometimes when i go get a cut! Anyway that last scene was nice the I mean there is always a girl in the hood who is loud and up on boys with fake eyelashes dancin in the street, unfortunately this time that girl is Fantasia!

Ok, it the first song off of the soundtrack and surprise they picked the bland Beyonce track...why GOD only knows. I mean don't get me wrong Bee sings the hell out of it, but alas its bland, can u really see anyone going "that's my song"? I can't! So Beyonce is on this push to prove she is such a good actress she has been doing all of these weird contusions and contortions of her face (i.e. Deja Vu, and Ring the Alarm), and if you're looking for some overacting well you have the right video! Now let me preface this by saying Beyonce looks absolutely stunning! There are moments in this video where she will take your breath away because she looks that damn good. Like when she has the dress on...OVAH!!!! But then Bee has to go and overact I mean Bee you weren't even this dramatic in Dreamgirls, and where did u get those godawful movements from in that dress!!!! I almost died when she beat her chest like a gorilla and then went into flailing her arms, ruining the climax of the video the shimmy (starting at 3:18) took ANY elegance you had left away. Beyonce take your choreographer and fire his ass! He has been getting you nothing but grief since you fell out in seizure at the BET awards! Otherwise the have some great shots of the movie which blended right in under Beyonce's overacting.

Well the CD has Leaked and it has set the Internet afire! But does it deliver HEAT or is smoke and mirrors...The Young Black Man is on it! Here is a play by play, song by song First Listen just as I heard it...

1. That's Right - It starts off Jumpin with the catchy crazy club song with Lil Jon bringin a down south type feel (This will bring ass popping in the clubs to new levels gay and straight).

2. Like A Boy - She slows it down a bit but brings some new vocal (brandy sounding background) treats on the hypnotic Like A Boy. With those nasty hermaphrodite rumors I am surprised she would title a song that way...

3. Evolution Of Music, The (Interlude) - The first evolution interlude is where she kind of turned me off...skip!

4. Promise - Promise is slow and sexy as I skip this (because they have worn it out on radio) I hope she brings me more slow music she has the capacity to hold my attention with a slow beat (that's one hell of an evolution).

5. I Proceed - A funky old school type beat comes on and Ciara is cooing (VERY Janet-esque) Ciara what the hell?!? this beat could have been used way more effectively...SKIP!

6. Can't Leave 'Em Alone - (with 50 Cent) 50 blasts through my speakers I love his sound on this beat! Ciara comes in and steals it...this is my song...Nice mellow groove I can see ridin to this on the highway.

7. C.R.U.S.H. - C.R.U.S.H. comes in and i am nodding my head, not bad not bad.

8. My Love - The next song has these crazy (MJB breakthrough) sounding vocals...nice song

* the way the songs are arranged is already gettin on my nerves. How we go from crush to hatin him Ciara Imma need u to stop playin with my musical emotions!

9. Evolution Of Dance, The (Interlude) - Interlude 2 another disappointment SKIP

10. Make It Last Forever - Darkchild comes in with the old school sample from "Whoo Yeah, It takes two to make a thing go right". Ciara sounds great over this beat, Rodney pushed her vocally this is the first song I can say she is singing on a very nice one.

11. Bang It Up - Bang It Up can only be looked at as ciara's rap-singing answer to everyone elses rap-singing lately...nice beat not impressed by ciara on this one not a skip tho it has a nice bridge

12. Get Up - (with Chamillionaire) Now we come to the song that turned the tides and brought me on board...This song is catch infectious and can still pack a dance floor months later! I am looking for an equal for this...remeber this is a soundtrack song.

13. Evolution Of Fashion, The (Interlude) - Ciara interlude 3 - ok I'll just say it out loud "shut the f*ck up!"

14. Get In, Fit In - Get In Fit I a bit out of reach for cici "tried so hard to copy my style..." girl sit down somewhere an ok song it lags when she decides to to cheer type calls that we have all ready heard from her...Sigh

15. Evolution Of C, The (Interlude) - Janet you are not with the interludes...Shut up already!!!

16. So Hard - Finally a Slow Beat...now I can so relate to this song...dayum I am loving it...Yesss!!!!

17. I'm Just Me - I'm just Me I love when people sing a song proclaiming just to be them (MJB's just mary, Fantasia's just me) I love this one "I'm just ghetto...I'm just me" nice one

18. I Found Myself - The acoustic sounding "I found myself" is where Ciara truly shines even with those vocal imperfections hear I can understand this song...I remember when I was your age...

Overall its an OK CD. I guess its so much hype and anticipation around this I was expecting a giant then a regular dude showed up...Truly feel it doesn't live up to the title The Evolution. Thinking of the sludge like musical dirt she sprouted up from (goodies), she had nowhere to go but up. Even the differences between her now and then are very apparent. But is it an evolution? We met her in a homemade cut up shirt...on her new CD cover she presents an expensive (probably designer) cut up shirt...Does that constitute an evolution? I think not. Truly there is a growth from the juvenile tone that she initially had in her music, but has she evolved...My exclusive musical evolution Chart has the answer.

1. Subject is very primitive in musical nature
2. Subject grooms (new weave) and brings a new element into her repertoire a good Guest Missy Elliot she is now walking musically instead of crawling around showing "goodies"
3. Subject re-grooms (better weave style, new clothes) and delivers a rapper again but she brings in a new tool...SEXINESS subject has seemed to find a sex appeal that is broader than a booty pop.
4. Subject takes strides evolving 3 stages with this single. She is sexy, can dance her ass off and subject now has broad appeal. Subject is almost at the top of her game. Note the jackhammer subject now carries she is about to bust the game open
5. Subject returns with Promise and shows she still got it. Great video everyone is expecting an evolutionary breakthrough the next time we see or hear the subject. Subject has the music community anxiously awaiting her next move.
6. Subject has taken a step back in her evolutionary growth. While she had the tools to be on top ultimately she wasn't able to use them. A good try from the subject, we are just glad subject did not revert back to "goodies".

Well, Well, Well a fellow Scorpio...whom I absolutely adore. This young man is from a boy band i like a few songs from. I thought his last cd wasn't that good! I didn't feel like he had completely made the departure enough from them to have a distinct sound of his own! This time around tho I think he has done us (Scorpio's) PROUD...from the grown up CD cover down to a nice lil R&B CD...

This is a fantastic R&B CD and Omarion co-wrote just about all the songs which shows some creative growth on his part. He really shines on songs like, The Truth (a touching song), Just cant Let You Go an uptempo banger that you can hear in the club and just picture Omarion dancing his ASS off too, Obsession a mid tempo track that makes you realize this boy is a crazy, crazy, scorpion (and an upgraded Justin Timberlake), and of course ICEBOX which is insanely GOOD and well written and my official motto "I've got this Icebox where my heart used to be".

It is however not without its downfalls the FIRST single which caused a 6 month shelving because it bombed Entourage while I think its an OK song it is by no means a single. That is one of those songs you groove to when you get the CD. "Fool With You" three words for this song NO, NO, NO! He doesn't have the depth yet to tackle a classic especially the isley's and with lyrics starting out like "Saw u walking my way with some M&M's and a Mountain Dew" it makes you just want to scold him and also reminds you that YES he is 21. Also Man Up (which was posted here first) from the UK version of the CD...is very B2K-esque.

All in all tho, this is a CD that I will be my first purchase the day after Christmas...I can't wait.

You guys know I adore this movie so here is a PROMO copy of a soundtrack. The actual soundtrack and the DELUXE Soundtrack have much more memorable music in it...this Promo soundtrack gives a few of the songs not sung buy stars to shine...I am GLAD this isn't the actual soundtrack tho I would have had heads rolling @ some of my songs I love being left off!!!

The first five tracks take u back to the talent contest at the beginning of the movie where the dreamgirls get the chance to sing behind James thunder Early. I love that song ME and My Baby Going Downtown I just think it is so naughty for that day!!! LOL...I love the way it was sung...Move is such a great song too...It is here u see that Jennifer truly could have been born in the 60's...she is amazing.

Dreamgirls (the song) is AMAZING as well!! The lil Jackson 5 knockoffs (Berry Gordy and Diana should have seriously got some money this was truly Motown) was so cute in the movie but listening to it a home I have to shrug my shoulders, and reach for the skip button ASAP!!!! I meant you no Harm is a song Eddie truly shows he has an ability to sing...It was also a touching moment in the movie that got FUNNY!!!!

All in all if u are HUNGRY for Dreamgirls this is like an appetizer enough to wet my whistle but it truly doesn't fill me!! The official Soundtrack drops December 5th make sure u cop that!!!!
