20 Y.O. Review....

Anyone who knows me knows that If I were stranded on a desert island all I would need are my Janet cd's and something to play them in. Janet is my favorite artist and on September 26 after MONTHS of waiting she gave me....Something. I don't think its ever a good idea to go into business with ur man...we all know that dick can make u blind...So let me go song for song...

Intro - I am a huge fan of interudes, especially from Janet!!! I think this one fit the album it made me think Janet was about to bring it...

So Excited - Club Banga LOVE it one of the best on the CD.

(At this point you would think dayum she is killin it on this cd...NOT the case)

Show Me - I hear Jermaines influence ALOT on this song...its aiight tho it starts the departure of the Janet we are used to "how bad do u Wont (how she pronounced it) it" <---WTF but that bridge...Classsic Janet whooooo

Get It Out Me - Jermaine leave Janet alone!!! Hip Hop esque janet? What happened to the Princess of POP? Its ok again...nothin special

Do IT 2 me - Now this is where I can say Jermaine is a damn genious (VERY Mariah esque tho) This song is pure fire...and is in Janets Normal M.O. melodious...

This Body - The absolute worst song on the cd...SKIP

All in all Imma Give it (2 out of 4) Snaps in a Circle. Yes I have a gay ratings system, I am one of the girls dammit! All in all...Janet is a damn FOOL (only i can say that because i love her dearly) she let her dick control too much!!!! He took of Dr. Dre's songs and 5 songs from Kwame and damn near all of Jimmy/Terry's songs (except for the last 5), and tried to have janets as this R&B/Hip Hop Artist!!! And he had EVERYTHING to say about this project while she sat idle and grinning...The result people turned away from her...Janet is a Pop artist, and thats what u should have heard from heer this time around....some feel good pop, like Doesn't Really Matter and All for You....instead of sounding lite and fun (as she stated in the interludes) the cd is very heavy. This CD has oficially died...unless you get a re-release with that song Clap Ya Hands and all the canned stuff take out that Jermaine crap. Catch on Sexy Back how the girl sounds like JUST Janet (coincidence? hmmmm). I think she should have done some work with other producers too...but Dick can be a powerful thing to women (and some men). This sucks chart wise because if she put out a better product she'd be doing better...Mariah did well cause that CD was off the chain!!!! I am not a big Mariah fan (that aries woman irks me as she gets older...lol) BUT I am a HUGE Mimi fan!!! She put her foot in that CD...I still listen to certain mimi tracks to this day!!!
