Recently I sat at work and was playing my station on yahoo radio. I recognized his melodiac falsetto as it echoed through the speakers soothing my soul. It was Maxwell singing "Lonely". I thought, where the hell is he? Why doesn't he come back to us...This beatiful icon of soul needs to come back and save us from this dreadful state of hip-hop and r&b hop we are being pummeled with. Recently I was watching Selena at home (see a cool clip above). I was taken back to when I first saw this movie Jennifer Lopez (in arguably her best performance) blew me away, I remeber 1997 and seeing this movie and being immersed in the hispancic culture. Fast forward to now and seeing this movie made me realize what a different view I have of Hispanics, tere culture, and their impact on America. First let me say I love Hispanics and I must say as another minority group looking in I am a little jealous. Hispanics can trace there roots (I as a black man can go but so far), they seem to stick together (America has done enough to the black family that the black "family" seems to be a thing of the past), They have the numbers (As the biggest minority group in America now they are flexing major political power). Now I will chime in on the issue of immigration. I feel if they are illegal, put em in JAIL! People say our jails are crowded, build more! When there sentence is up...send them home! Protect our border! Build a giant electric wall and keep them out. Repeal the law if you are born here you are a US citizen, I don't think it is fair that if u sneak into the coutry illegally u get to stay because u have a child! Selena made me realize how dynamic of an impact hispanic-americans have on our country. Why do I feel so strongly...NO other immagrants come in and try to get accomodated. Wherever the other immagrants come from most can speak ENGLISH, which should be made the official launguage of America. Sometimes have to know Spanish just to order at Mc Donalds (thank god i took AP spanish in high school and college), just the other day I saw a poor bilingual hispanic haveing to work 3 registers because the people at the front DIDN"T SPEAK ENGLISH. I don't want to READ spanish on signs...I don't want to PRESS 1 for ENGLISH it should be automatic! I don't want to HEAR the STAR SPANGLED BANNER IN SPANISH. If you are going to immigrate to a country I think u should KNOW it! If hispanics did a mass push to get them all english speaking I would have no problem! Thats my rant and rave...on this issue

Black Police Officers of america please lend me you ears? Do you feel that because you BLACK you have more to prove. Do you always feel the need to harass and belittle you OWN people. Brotha/Sista why that chip on your shoulder when you come to my car. Are you encouraged to prove you worth. Or are you scared that if you pull a person of another race over it will have some reprocussions. Black officers stop being blinded by the money. Remeber who you are and the struggles of your people. Black officer, please don't let me down!
I have a gripe! Gay Bars and Clubs SPOIL gay men when it comes to drinks...for the most part you can get a STRONG drink 
a MANS drink. A drink thats not fussed over a drink that is pure alchohol. Something that will put hair on ur chest and that will keep the tips flowing, not to mention they are inexpensive enough to not break ur pockets. On the flip side when I go to STRAIGHT establishments the drinks are 1.) expensive, and 2.) WEAK. At a straight club they often want the drink to LOOK good! 
I don't want a nice pretty drink if its not going to fuck me up! I mean the object of a club (let me give you some REALITY of what goes into the making) is to get PRETTY people in there and get them to spend there money while there, and then tell everyoe they know. The average person goes out gets drunk and goes home with someone. It happens. Why can't straight clubs get the hint. CHEAP strong drinks, will ASSURE that I will get DRUNK at your CLUB, vs, before I get there!
If you have INSOMNIA, and you have tried everything and NOTHING WORKS...Try this movie! You will fall asleep if you have an IQ!
This had to be the absolute stupidest movie I have ever sat through. Don't please don't think I HATE the franchise because I DON'T! The first 2 are pure GENIUS to me and are movies I can watch again and again and again. I do however think after the Wayans stopped the franchised should have stopped with them. First off the series needs Shorty and Ray...secondly instead of the jokes & plot flowing seamlessly, like in 1 & 2 the movies bounced around from movie to movie with no plot.
This movie did have some funny moments. But it wasn't the same even Brenda's dumb blond lines which usually crack me up left me with maybe a smirk for instance when a football hit her in the face and another character yells "Sorry" to which she replies "its ok I have taken balls to the face before" didn't even leave the audience laughing and I sat soured! Don't EVER waste a DIME on this movie It stinks.
