MJB - Reflections

2 and 1/2 Stars (out of 4) Slightly Trying It
(Click Picture to Download)
If Mary had put the right songs on her she would have easily gotten a 4star review from me, EASY! While this is a nice collection of Mary's hits, its nice and truly not great. I am sure her hardcore fans are pissed and being a newbie I am with them this doesn't satisfy me AT ALL. The album covers many Mary hits that I am familiar with and a few I never heard. A real treat is the track with John legend King and Queen a mellow and laid back Mary who is vocally so much better that she has been in the past. One of the biggest complaints I used to have about Mary was her voice. I didn't know at the time she was slumped over somewhere in a studio High as hell being exploited (Like on this song with Lauryn Hill - Now I Don't. If you cannot hear that Mary was somewhere slumped over u are a damn fool. Also it wasn't until recently I knew that was a duet! Most don't know, being as tho its a small as credit she gets and she sings that whole song!). Tho I am scratching my head on some of the songs left of that I like and remember like: Beautiful, Love @ First Sight, Be Happy, You remind me, I can love you (ft Lil Kim), Deep Inside, Every Day it Rains, Memories, Time, He Think I don't Know, Rainy Dayz, Gimmee You, and my personal favorite Your Child. With such a list of hits Bilge's people should have made the CD a double disc! And scrapped the terrible duets CD!!!! I don't know if this worth the money cause to me if you own The Breakthrough as I do...You are buying the same CD twice.

Shut the fuck up! Your review is stupid and pointless, from day one Mary had THE VOICE, have you not heard Whats The 411?, "My Life"? etc? You dumb fool, this album is GREAT! It will definitely go past platinum (Like ALL her albums do), so you aint stopping NOTHING!

Well "anonymous" If u could read the only reason I gave it a low review is because they left ALOT of songs off that people will be asking for...this is NOT a COMPLETE greatest hits. If you are the type of fan that will accept hot SHIT from your artists so be it...but wouldn't (see the Janet Jackson 20y/o review). I am honest, if you don't like it, don't read tha blog! Thank You!
